Key concepts
Workspaces, creators, posts, slots and quotas, the few ideas that explain how Kinuly behaves.
Workspace#
A workspace is your agency’s space in Kinuly: its creators, content, calendar, plan and team. Everyone gets their own workspace when they sign up. On a paid plan you can invite up to four people into yours, and you can also join one other team, switching between the two from the sidebar.
Creators#
A creator is an Instagram professional account connected to your workspace. Each Instagram account can belong to only one Kinuly workspace at a time. Kinuly publishes to it through Meta’s official API, with the permissions the creator approved.
Creator slots#
Your plan sets how many creators you can have connected at once. A slot is used by every connected account, and briefly by a connection in progress (for up to 20 minutes while the creator approves access). Removing a creator frees its slot.
Posts#
A post is one Reel, one photo or one carousel of 2 to 10 items, for one creator, with a caption of up to 2,200 characters. Every post has an internal title only your team sees. A post is a draft until you schedule it.
Monthly quota#
Each plan includes a number of posts per month. A post counts towards the month of its scheduled time as soon as you schedule it, and is given back if you cancel it, turn it back into a draft, or if it fails. Quotas reset at the start of each calendar month, UTC.
Media library#
Everything you upload goes into the workspace’s library, up to 2 GB on every plan. You can reuse a file in several posts. A file can’t be deleted while a post that isn’t cancelled uses it.
Time zones#
Each post keeps the time zone it was planned in. The dashboard uses your browser’s time zone, and AI assistants use the one you tell them. A post scheduled for 18:30 in Dubai publishes at 18:30 Dubai time, whatever the time zone of the person looking at the calendar.
