Manage creators
The creators directory, what each status means, and how to reconnect or remove an account.
Creators lists every Instagram account connected to the workspace, with its status, its slot and its queued posts. Every role can see it; only owners and managers can connect, reconnect or remove creators.
Statuses#
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Connected | Everything works. Posts publish on schedule. |
| Reconnect needed | Instagram no longer returns the account, usually after a password change or withdrawn permissions. Kinuly checks every 10 minutes. Reconnect it to resume publishing. |
| Removing | The account is being removed. |
| Removal needs review | Kinuly couldn’t confirm the removal with the publishing provider. Contact support if it lasts. |
| Disconnected | The account is no longer connected and doesn’t use a slot. |
Remove a creator#
Click the remove button on the creator’s row and confirm. Kinuly then:
- cancels the creator’s drafts, scheduled, blocked and failed posts and gives their quota back,
- frees the creator’s slot,
- keeps already published posts online on Instagram.
You can’t remove a creator while one of their posts is being published or while a connection attempt is open. Wait a minute and try again.
Slots and plans#
Each plan includes a number of creator slots: see Plans & limits. A slot is used by every connected account and by any connection attempt still open. When you schedule a downgrade, the smaller plan’s limit applies, so remove extra creators first.
